Plummer assisted a major telecom provider with developing an Aerial to Underground Conversion Cost Study for approximately one mile of dense urban facilities. Our Team researched the existing provider facilities utilizing their internal record documentation systems, databases, and previous design files.  Additionally, we performed facility verification site walks to create a comprehensive existing facility map.

Plummer developed a high-level relocation proposal, accounting for the rerouting of service connections and cost-effective infrastructure consolidations. Lastly, our team developed an Engineer’s Opinion of Probable costs for the relocation efforts with an estimated construction impact over $2.0 million.  The report was utilized by the provider to coordinate with the design team and the city.
