Full-Time Resident Project Representative
The water treatment plant expansion from 4 MGD to 6 MGD includes a new raw water pump station and conveyance piping, miscellaneous yard piping, an Actiflo pretreatment followed by media filtration treatment train, chlorine dioxide pre-oxidation and pretreatment chemical systems, a clearwell, gaseous chlorine disinfection system, ammonia sulfate system (for chloramines), corrosion control system; and, in a separate building, the finished water high service pump station. The new prefabricated building system included a process area, chemical feed and storage areas; bathroom, motor control room, and mechanical room; including heating, lighting and fire suppression systems.
The project is USDA funded, and Plummer is currently on-site full-time serving as resident project representative.
